Marvelous Monday: Finding Weekly Inspiration with The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel
One of my all-time favorite shows—and a major source of inspiration for chasing my dreams—is The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Her boldness, wit, and resilience remind me that it’s never too late to start something new or keep going when things get tough.
That’s why I’m kicking off a new blog series called Marvelous Monday—a weekly dose of motivation to start the week with purpose. Whether it’s a life lesson pulled from an episode of the show or a simple reflection from my own journey, this space is here to spotlight the marvelous things happening around and within us.
My goal is to remind both you and me that progress matters more than perfection. Even the smallest steps count. Fear may try to keep us stuck in place—spinning our wheels month after month, year after year—but we don’t have to stay there.
By committing to this weekly post, I’m choosing action over hesitation. Even when things feel uncertain, I trust that God is in control. As Psalm 98:1 beautifully declares:
“Oh sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done MARVELOUS things! His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him.”
God promises to “bless the work of your hands” (Deuteronomy 28:12). But that doesn’t happen by wallowing in self-pity, laziness, or fear, causing you to stay stagnant or immobile. (Preaching to myself here more than the choir!)
Let this be your reminder today: Doing something is always better than doing nothing.
